She is survived by: her husband Rudolph Townsend; her children, Louis Townsend (Wendy) of Carolina Shores, NC, Patricia "Patty" Smith (Tim) of Newark and Denise Townsend; and her brother Walter Wilson of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven grandchildren.
