He is survived by : his wife Ellen Garcia (Gutijer); his children, Jennifer Uy-Bulaong (Sy) of Ewa Beach, HI, Jonalen Manalo (Alex) of Camp Humphries, Korea, Joy Cathleen Brennan (Ryan) of Hampton, VA and Jaykurt Uy (Jaylene Pedro) of Yorktown, VA; his grandchildren, Jose Kyler Uy, Reyna Jade Brennan, Ruby June Brennan, Zoey Pedro, Sylas Uy-Bulaong, Syrena Uy-Bulaong, Syreyz Bulaong, Alexandria Manalo and Alex Manalo, Jr.; his brother Reynaldo "Nonong" Uy of Manila, Philippines; his sister-in-law Fely Uy; and his cousin Nicolas Diestro.
