We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2023, at the age of 99, Jack Wayne Severe (Carolina Shores, North Carolina), born in Columbus, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Wayne Severe to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jefferson Joseph (J. J.) and Opal Severe; his siblings, Jefferson Joseph Severe Jr., Jay B Severe and Jean Armstrong; his wives, Verbee Severe and Vivian Winstead; and his stepson Jerry Hazard.

He is survived by : his daughter Debbie Lanagan; his stepchildren, Marie Hamm, Randy Blanton, Tony Blanton and Gail Benton; his grandchildren, Sherri Tadus, Verbee Faucette, Joseph Marino (Celina Marino), James Shepard Jr., Mark Hazard, Marlena Johnson and Mylinda Duncan; and his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lanagan, Courtney Simonson and Georgia Tadus. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and his wife's siblings.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Missions, Spring View Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 801 N. College Rd. Wilmington, NC 28405.
