Cecil Ellis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2025, at the age of 85, Cecil Ellis (Carolina Shores, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie "Myrtle" Andrews and Cecil Carroll Ellis; his siblings, Joyce Clark, Larry Ellis, Bobby Ellis and Jackie Brown; and his son Mickal Ellis.
He is survived by: his children, Bo Jankowski, Allen Ellis, Teddi Perkins, Joel "Joey" Perkins and Jana Reeves; his former wife Peggy Alred; and his grandchildren, Lyric Ellis, Joseph McDuffie Jr. and Lydia Ellis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the World Wildlife Fund, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Lower Cape Fear Lifecare or any charity that supports causes close to his heart.
