With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Griffith of Carolina Shores, North Carolina, born in Lizemores, West Virginia, who passed away on July 5, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Albert Rogers and Maggie Mae Legg Jarrett; her husband Albert Roger Griffith Sr.; and her siblings, Lorena Carr and Drema Holstine.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charlene Anne Summers and George Edward Jarrett of Charleston, WV; her children, Jane Anderson of Wilmington, NC, Anita Fiel (Melvin) of Harrison City, PA, Albert Roger Griffith (Tomoya Minowa) of New York, NY and John F. Griffith-Reimann (Peter) of Auburn, AL; her grandchildren, Christopher Anderson (Holly), Sarah Anderson, Melvin Fiel III and Haley Fiel; and her great grandchildren, Lydia and Cora Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
