She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Augusta Wright and Margaret Cashwell Wright; and her husband Veston Goff "Bunky" Stewart Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Olin W. "Wes" Stewart (Becky) of New Bern, NC and Christopher G. "Chris" Stewart (Jodie Hunter) of Carolina Beach, NC.; her grandchildren, Jonathan Meadows (Amanda) of Lacombe, LA, Mallory Haskins (Dennis) of New Bern, NC and Olivia Kitts (Zack) of Sherman, TX.; her great grandchildren, Dylan Meadows, Jude Meadows, Leo Lewallen, William Owen, Kameron Owen, Joseph Hamilton and Tyler Haskins; her daughter Teresa Jeffries; and her cousins, Gray Fountain Richardson (Cashwell), Jamie Scott, Morgan Chapman and Glory Hallelujahs.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorials can be made to First Baptist Church, Carolina Beach, NC (https://www.fbccb.org) where a Celebration of her Life will take place on Saturday July 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
