He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward and Grace Williams Miles; his son Carl Durant Miles; and his siblings, Clyde Miles, Ronnie Miles, Melvin Miles, Oleeta Deeter, Doris Maltba and Genee Owen.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason W. Miles and Damon R. Miles; and his sisters, Carol Sue Crane and Patricia Clewis.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Church (415 Charlotte St, Alexis, NC 28006).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charles' memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital Coastal Cremations 6 Jacksonville St., Wilmington NC 28403.
