With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Kennedy Wheeler of Caroleen, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shirley Kennedy left this world on November 27, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Kennedy and Lula Mae Henson Kennedy; her husband Charles Wheeler; her siblings, Betty Ledbetter, Hazel Hardin and Max Kennedy; and her grandson Anthony Trotter.

She is survived by: her children, Sheila Trotter and Mark Wheeler (Donna) of Forest City; her grandchildren, Scott, Tonya, Andrea and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Devin, Selena, Aiden, Brayden, Adrien and Lydia; and her great great grandchild Charlie.
