She was predeceased by: her parents, John Greene and Lilly Davis Greene; her husband Ernest R. Dotson; her son Lonnie Dotson; her grandchildren, Rhonda Jones and Tracy Dotson; and her siblings, Gertrude Evans and Leroy Greene.
She is survived by: her children, Carrie Adair (Albert) of Ellenboro, Teresa Lynn Dotson of Caroleen, Lisa Metcalf (Randy) of Marion and Donnie Dotson of Forest City; and her grandchildren, Dawn Waters (Chris), Donna Short (Tracy), Miranda Owens, Jackie Roper (Micky Garner), Jeff Dotson (Shayne), Brandon Metcalf (Chayla), Candy Metcalf (Ricky), Crissy Porter (Jeremy), Scott Dotson (Tracy) and Tammy Bowen (Bobby). She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery (1743 Chase High Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
