It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Murray of Caroleen, North Carolina, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Golden Valley Murray; his daughter Lisa Grayson; his siblings, Betty Rayfield, Roxanne Nanney and Jessie Murray; and his grandchildren, Cody and Harley Rice.
He is survived by : his wife Deb Murray; his children, Tammy Bailey (Randy) of Forest City, Michael Murray (Audrey) of Rutherfordton, Wendi Burke (Jerry) of Forest City, John V. Murray of Green Hill, Amy Murray (Chris) of Mt. Holly and Chris Grayson of Gastonia; and his siblings, Lorene "Pete" Scoggins of Rutherfordton, Kathleen Henson (Don) of Harris and Ernest Murray (Leah) of Caroleen. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
