She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gene Barefoot and Linda Barefoot; her children, April Scharp (Will) and Jeffrey (Billie); her grandchildren, Jacob, Chloe Scharp, Bailey, Kailey and Railey Barber; her sisters, June Sloan (Tommy), Nancy Barefoot (Kenneth) and Betsy Barefoot; her nephew Barrett Sloan; and her close friend Eddie Haltstead.
