She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace W. Carroll and Elma Carroll; and her siblings, William, Harold and Elizabeth Baker.
She is survived by: her husband James "Junior" Butler of Fayetteville; her daughters, Gail Butler Dickens (Larry) of Buies Creek, Jean Butler Britt of Fayetteville, Elaine Butler Stoker (Rick) of Fayetteville and Angie Butler Britt (John) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Jamie Britt Strout (Jonathan), Chris Britt, Faith Dickens Fitzgerald (Dave), Kyle Stoker (Ashley), Becca Britt Hudson (Brandon) and Julianne Britt; her great grandchildren, Dean Campbell Stoker, Kaleb Strout, Phoenix Strout, Nate Fitzgerald and Izzie Fitzgerald; and her sisters, Dorothy Hair of Dunn and Callie Sue Strickland of Winter Garden.
