He was predeceased by: his parents, Buddy Coleman and Laura Graves; and his sister Georgeann Bradner. He is survived by: his sister Donna Elder (Larry) of Bangs, TX; his nieces and nephews, Mike Elder of Merkel, TX, John (Jessica) of Coleman, TX, Lori Greene (Larry) of New Kent, VA and Kimberly Bradner of Roanoke, VA; his cousins, Robbie Gronewald (Bobby) of LaGrange, TX and Larry Bellar of Sudan, TX.; and his close friends, Sergeant Scott and Mark Smith.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests monetary donations to Augusta Military Academy Alumni Foundation, P.O. Box 100, Fort Definace, VA 24437.
