She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsworth Hinton and Eleanor Hinton; and her husband Charles Harwin Smith. She is survived by: her children, Charles H. Smith, Jr. (Kim Ridge) of Rotonda, William S. Smith (Linda) of Cape Coral and Heather S Smith (Jay DeChesere) of Wilmington, NC.; her grandchildren, Sarah, Charles, Casey and Justin; and also, Gloria Williams, Laura Barnes, Griswold HomeCare and Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
