He was predeceased by: his father Lloyd Gilbert Carroll. He is survived by: his mother Anne House Carroll of Bethel, NC; his brother David Carroll of Bethel, NC; his wife Helen Knight "Buffy" Carroll of Massachusetts; his children, Christian and Katherine Elizabeth Elich (Leonardus Corneilus Elich III); his grandchildren, Elizabeth McArthur Elich and Lee Nantz Elich; his son Lloyd Gilbert "Tripp" Carroll III (Sarah Bass Carroll); and his grandchildren, Daniel Herdy Carroll and Dalon Nantz Carroll.
