He was predeceased by: his parent Hubert Carr; his sister Richard J. Carr; and also, Jerry T. Carr, Eugene B. Carr and Mary Ann Carr Warren.
He is survived by: his parent Annie Everett Jackson Carr; his wife Louetta Herring Carr; his children, Sheila Carr Kinsey (Jim) of Fayetteville and Hubert Nixon Carr (Mary Jo) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Anna Elizabeth Carr Andrews (Phillip), Sarah Carr Stone (Matt), Hannah Carr Baxter (Tyler), Rachel Carr Grantham (Dalton), Madison Carr Kinsey and James Everett Kinsey; his siblings, Frances Carr Hayes (George) of Greensboro and Robert B. Carr (Loray) of Dunn; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Carr of Dunn and Faye Carr of Clinton.
