He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lieu "Lon" Ellard; his children, Mark (Kristy), Matthew, Brian, Douglas, Robin and Susan; and his siblings, Lois Wheeler (Edgar) and Frederick Ellard (Patricia). He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren.
