He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert Pierce and Mary Joyce Pierce; and his brother James Pierce. He is survived by: his sisters, Sue Hixson (Mike) of Fountain Inn, SC and Lynn Byrd (Lee) of Clayton; his sister-in-law Michelle Pierce; his nephew Hunter Byrd; and his nieces, Kaylee and Ally Byrd.
