He is survived by: his wife Pandora Jacobs of Greensboro; his children, Tirannatta Fryar of Durham, Sheila Fryar, Kayshanda Rush (Tony), Fred Fryar and Darrell Fryar; his siblings, Henry W. Fryar Sr (Kaye), Annie F. Burke (Monroe) of Fayetteville and Cornelius "Cookie" Peterson Caldwell (Willie) of Durham; and his sister-in-law Gladys Fryar of Clinton.
