She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Butler and Elizabeth Butler; and her son-in-law John Metzger. She is survived by: her siblings, Hattie Butler, Eleanor Gibson, Henry Butler, Ralph Butler, Una Strickland, Ella Butler, Ruth Napolitano, Marguerite Meinzer and Louise Lincoln; her son Gary Hicks; her husband Alva Hicks; her children, Sheila Dumlao (Ernie) of Whispering Pines, NC, Dale Hicks (Lois) of Kemmerer and Debra Metzger of Bogue, NC.; her grandchildren, Craig Metzger (Angie) of Yawkey, Rosa Lynn Salzman (Rodger) of Kemmerer, WY and Robby Hicks (Jennifer) of Casper, Wyoming; and her great grandchildren, Aaron, Emma Salzman, Addison Metzger, Joey and Gracie Hicks.
