She is survived by: her husband Lee Nelson of Cape Carteret; her children, Lee Nelson Jr. (Tammy) of Beaufort, Deborah Poe (Curt) of Durham and Michael Nelson (Kim) of Cape Carteret; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Kristen, Gavin, Lindsey, Ryan and Owen; and her brother William McGrath (Dale) of Timber Lake, NC..
