She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Scribner; and her grandparents, Austin, Constance Peck, Dorothy, Strong Stanley Scribner, Emile, Evalene Brunese, Albert and Marion Kaiser.
She is survived by: her sons, Brendan Hegarty (Kelly) of Roanoke, VA, Jordan Hegarty of Auburn, ME and Stephen Hegarty of Cape Carteret, NC; her grandchildren, Noralyn, Moira, Cornelius and Saoirse; her siblings, David Scribner (Pam) of Brookfield, CT, Robin Marquis of Alpharetta, GA, Gay O'Hanlon (Michael) of Milton, MA and Tracey Colonair (Robert) of Watertown, CT; and her stepsiblings, Roger Malumphy (Barbara), David Malumphy (Patricia) and Karen Malumphy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Leigh Ann has requested memorial contributions be made to Grace Church, 807 W. Corbett Ave., Swansboro, NC 28584.
