It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Sigman Spencer of Cape Carteret, North Carolina, born in High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lily Burnette Sigman Spencer and John Walker Spencer; and his wife Barbara Hughes Spencer. He is survived by: his children, John H. Spencer of Trinity, Janice Spencer Pluer (Eric) of Mooresville and Paul B. Spencer of Camden, NC; his grandchildren, Cody Brown, Brooke Caldwell, Jonathan Spencer, Andrew Spencer and Tristan Spencer; and his great grandchildren, Macy Fellos and Garrett Caldwell.
