He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Fairbanks and Elizabeth Fairbanks. He is survived by: his siblings, Lee Spell of Wake Forrest, Tim Fairbanks of Emerald Isle and Ted Fairbanks (Patricia) of Williamsburg, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and close friends.
