He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Smith; his daughters, Alice Winfield Everette (Joseph Brian) of Sugar Grove, NC and Elizabeth Smith Owens (Payton Berry) of Tarboro; his granddaughter Julia Marie Everette; and his mother-in-law Hattie Elizabeth Bailey Stocks of Tarboro.
