He is survived by: his former wife Martha Cannon (Pollard) of Newport; his wife Marti Cannon; his children, James Cannon (Nancy) of Newport, Teresa Donohue (Marty) of Havelock and Liane Hajduk (Jeff) of Cape Carteret; his siblings, Janice Cannon, Cherry Matthews, Brenda White, Sandy Glancy and Roy Cannon; his grandchildren, Samantha, Amanda, DeAnna, Jacob, Annette and Jeremy; and his great grandchildren, Zola, Joey, Kayla, Charleigh, Taylor, Cade and Maggie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Building Fund, 193 Yacht Club Dr, Newport, NC 28570.
