He is survived by: his wife Kay Roberts Stephens; his children, Carla Stephens Alexander of Swansboro and Brian Holt Stephens (Liane) of Raleigh; his siblings, Linda Stephens (Nancy Kukol) of Charlotte, John Lee Stephens of Apple Valley, CA, Robert Allen Stephens of New Bern and Rodney Stephens of Ft. Meyers, FL; and his grandchildren, William Claymore Alexander, Anna Marie Stephens and Emily Stephens.
