He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Ripley and Katherine Ripley; and his sister Barbara King. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ripley; his children, Dawn Wooten (Melvin) of Fuquay Varina, Teresa Carter of Wake Forest and Eddie Paul (Darlene) of Lake Royal; his granddaughters, Grace Wooten, Sherry DiMille and Brittany Williams; and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Riley and Kaley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
