She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Grant and Grace Rich Grant; her husband Kenneth Alvin "Root" Jones; and her siblings, James R. Grant, Jackson P. Grant, Georgie G. Childers, Betty G. Freeman and Evelyn G. Green. She is also survived by eight nephews and two nieces.
