He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward E. Rogers and Vergie Pressley Rogers; and his siblings, Dois Rogers, Hubert Rogers and Berlyn Farmer.
He is survived by: his wife Elva Lee Phillips Rogers; his children, Pam Blomquist (Paul), Renee Anderson (Tom Griffin) and Kevin Rogers (Debra); his granddaughters, Kristy Thompson, Amanda Jones and Elizabeth Lofgren; and his great grandchild Khloe Collins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In keeping with COVID-19 regulations, funeral attendance will be limited to 50 guests and we kindly ask that face masks be worn and social distancing be observed at all times.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Meadow Grove Baptist Church, 12 Meadow Grove Church Road, Canton, NC 28716.
