Velma Faye Snelson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2023, at the age of 91, Velma Faye Snelson (Canton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, O. J. Perryman and Clydia Gregory Perryman; her husband Dallas "Wiley" Snelson; and her brother Earl Perryman of Charlotte, NC.. She is survived by: her children, Pat Jackson of Ft. Worth, Texas and Randy Snelson (Krizza Mae) of Canton, NC; her grandchildren, Stephanie Jackson Spivey (Steve) and Eric Christopher Jackson (Lisa); and her great grandchildren, Shannon Moore, Shelbi Kreis, Sheridan Spivey, Cody Jackson, Bryce Jackson and Brooks Jackson. She is also survived by dogs, leaving behind her faithful friend.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials be made in honor of Faye's memory to West Canton Baptist Church, 75 Lowe Street, Canton, NC 28716.
