He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Thomas Gene; his stepmother Lucille Allman Rogers of Candler, NC.; his grandparents, Horace of Candler, NC., Flora Henderson Rogers of Candler, NC., Walter of Candler, NC. and Cecil Gant Christopher of Candler, NC.; his children, Megan Rogers Towe, Cameron Towe of Canton, NC, Kelsey Rogers Collins and Travis Collins of Fairview, NC; his grandchildren, Ian, Abigail, Avery, Owen, Kevin, Sawyer, Marshall and Finley; his mother Evelyn Christopher Reece of Candler, NC; his sisters, Kathy Rogers Silver (John Silver) and Sherry Rogers Burress (Tim Burress); and his pet Pepper.
