It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Wilson of Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Wilson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sabra Melburn Thompson and Ivan Jakey Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Ivan Wilson (Courtenay Gilmore Wilson) of Asheville and Daphne Wilson of Monroe; his sisters, Elizabeth Wilson Bowers (Gary Bowers) of Charlotte, Mary Wilson Kitts (Alan Kitts) of Whitsett and Jeanne Wilson Holliday (John Holliday) of Cary; and his granddaughters, Grace Wilson, Madeline Kate Wilson and Courtenay Jane Wilson. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews; and five grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to United Way of Haywood County to aid in flood recovery.
