It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Wayne James (Canton, North Carolina), who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dallas James and Carlene James; his wife Mary Connor James of Canton; his children, Miranda Nanney (Austin) of Hendersonville and Dalton James of Myrtle Beach, SC; his stepsons, Xavier and Zachary Henson; his brothers, Mark James, Johnny James and Sammy James; his stepgrandmother Janie James; his nieces and nephews, Austin, Riley, Micah, Jacqueline and Arron; his pets, Diesel, Daisy and Tibby; and his friends, Roger, Penny Holcombe, Jeff Mcleod, Heath Carver, Rocky Sanford, Bill McCall, Paul Haney, Casy Hipps, Jason Skidmore, Aaron Owen, Taulbee Luther, Matthew Boydston, Chris Benge, Steve Brown, Scott Hall and Neil Grogan.
