He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Drye and Edna Smathers Drye. He is survived by: his wife Sue Carswell Cox of Canton; and his children, Stephanie Wright (Wes) of Asheville, Mitch Cox and Nathan Cox of Liberty. He is also survived by grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
