It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stella Owens of Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Reece and Eva Dyer Reece; her husband Robert Vincent Owens; her daughter Judy Davis; her son-in-law Danny Greene; and her siblings, Mildred McFalls, Evelyn Freeman, Edna Chambers, Ellen Henson, Paul, Algie and Roe Reece.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Greene of Canton and Audrey Cooley of Greenville; and her sister Eva Mae Burress (Carroll) of Canton. She is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
