He is survived by: his wife Sharon Pou Hoey; his children, Bess Hoey Rickman and Joseph Roark Hoey of Candler; his granddaughters, Melissa Marie Mijares and Samantha Dale Urbina; and his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Matthew, Samantha and Maverick.
