We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2024, at the age of 84, Roy Blaine Henson of Canton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Shay Henson and Nellie Maude Green Henson; and his son Roger Henson. He is survived by: his wife Glenda King Henson; his children, Rick Henson (Donna) of Cruso, Marty Henson (Heather) of Piedmont, S. C. and Vickie Henson (Mary) of Greensboro, NC.; his grandchildren, Tamika, Shay, Amber, Brooke, Starr, Ashley, Hannah, Zachary and Zayne; and his great grandchildren, Malik, Jeremy, Addison, Hadaleigh, Eliah, Eden, Hunter, Desiree and John.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haywood Hospice and Palliative Care, 43 Bowman Drive, Waynesville, NC 28785.
