She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Jack and Marie Moore Hipps; and her sister Freda Queen. She is survived by: her husband Frank Chambers, Jr.; her sons, William Frank "Bill" Chambers, III (Ellen) of Raleigh and Jason Chambers (Tamara) of Asheville; her sister Katy Russell (Vernon) of Clyde; and her grandchildren, Madeline Solis-Rosas, Paige Elyse Chambers and Gabriella Seals. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
