It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Reuben W. Adams of Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Filmore Adams and Bessie Hooper Adams. He is survived by: his wife Zelda Earley Adams; his children, Karen Adams Moore and Timothy Adams (Leanne); his grandchildren, Carrie Jamison (Mark), Kaitlin Moore and Madison Gales (Nathaniel); his great grandchildren, Jack and Maggie Jamison; and his brothers, Denton and Samuel Adams.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church (483 Sunset Cir, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Venture Cemetery (4876 Old Clyde Rd, Clyde, NC 28721).
