He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Christopher Hamlett; and his siblings, James Hamlett, Oliver "Bub" Hamlett and Alma Holcombe. He is survived by: his son David Hamlett (Alana) of Weaverville, NC; his grandchildren, Amy Peterson (Jeff) of Weaverville, NC and Heath Hamlett (Chris) of Huntersville, NC; his great grandchild Andrew Peterson of Fletcher, NC; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Bayleigh Mann of Huntersville, NC. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
