He was predeceased by: his close friend Anna Ruth Liford; his son William Jeffrey West; his parents, Jessie Mae Rhymer West and William Henry West Sr.; and his brothers, William Henry West Jr. and Charles Franklin West.
He is survived by: his daughter Paige Liford Davis; his son-in-law John Davis; his son Marcus Holland West; his daughter-in-law Karen Corzine West Stanley; his grandchildren, Adrianne English West Todoran, Nicole Holland West Revis, Jessica Bell West, Allison Holland West and Taylor Stites West; and also, Deborah Stites West and Dan Stanley. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
