She was predeceased by: her parents, Dolman Thomas Moore and Faye Annie Stamey Moore; her daughter Cindy Messe Clark; and her siblings, Geraldine Israel, Hazel Moore and Floyd Thomas "Jack" Moore (Eugene "Doc" Moore).
She is survived by: her husband Ralph E. Messer; her sons, Darryl Messer (Marcie) of Canton and Darren Messer (Donna) of Asheville; her grandchildren, Amber Lambert (William), Dewayne Clark (Katy), Ashley Messer, Kristen Rigdon (Colton), Holston Kent, Joseph Messer and Trenton Messer; and her great grandchildren, Easton Clark, Lane Rigdon and Grant Clark.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home (1 N Main St, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Crawford (1 N Main St, Canton, NC 28716).
