It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louella Christine Thompson Pressley (Canton, North Carolina), who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James William and Eva Louise Singleton Thompson; and her husband R. O. Pressley. She is survived by: her children, Gloria Hope Pressley of Canton, Steven Ray Pressley (Pat) of Candler and Allan Reid Pressley (Linda) of Etowah; her grandchildren, Anthony Parker, Tanya Parker, Elizabeth Conner, Cindy Pressley Brooks and Zachery Pressley; her great grandchildren, Jerron Parker, Kendall Bethea, Dayshia Parker and Leah Pressley; and her nieces, Naomi Stuart, Wanda Rose Gorman and Ann Riddle. She is also survived by eight great-great-grandchildren.
