It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Morgan of Canton, North Carolina, born in Jackson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyndon Holden and Hester Watson Holden; her daughter Cynthia Brown; and her sister-in-law Jean Holden. She is survived by: her daughters, Clydette Burke (David) of Canton and Pauline White (Scott) of Oviedo, Florida; her son-in-law Brian Brown of Deltona, Florida; and her siblings, Jean Blanton (Roland) of Penrose, Loretha Ubel (Stephen) of Alcolu and Taylor Holden of Lenoir. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four nephews; two nieces; two great-nephews; and three great-nieces.
