With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Larry Wheeler of Canton, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Larry left this world on April 3, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Jade Crawford (Brandon); his grandchildren, Holden and Laney Crawford; his siblings, Frances Sprinkle, Margaret Carter and Mike Wheeler (Gina); his nephews, Rick and Keith Sprinkle; his niece Jan Robinson; his parents, Ernest Wheeler and Edith Rogers Wheeler; his uncle Richard Sprinkle; his nephew Mark Sprinkle; his niece Amy Sprinkle; and his pets, Rascal and Bayleigh.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Canton (3715 Asheville Hwy, Canton, NC 28716). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly welcomes memorial donations that may be made to Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministries, Project Healing Waters, and Veterans of Foreign Wars of Waynesville, NC.
