He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lynn and Edna Reece Chambers; and his brother James Bryan Chambers. He is survived by: his wife Ruth McCracken Chambers; his son Douglas Chambers; and his siblings, Phyllis Gaddis (John), Charles (Catherine), Ronald (Janet) and Ray (Evelyn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
