With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy Morgan Burrus (Canton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Kathy Morgan has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson Morgan and Geraldine Melton Morgan; and her sister Reba Hall. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Burrus of Waynesville; her daughter Emily of Waynesville; and her sister Rebecca Morgan of Canton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mountain View Church of God (4000 Pisgah Dr, Canton, NC 28716). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
