She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Smith and Vernie Blaylock Smith; her husband Sorrells, Jr.; her son Michael Mease; her sisters, Maxine Sorrells and Shirley Sutton; her nephews, Rickey Sorrells and Richard Smith; and her brother-in-law Leonard Sutton.
She is survived by: her daughter Rita Sorrells-Stephenson (Charles Stephenson) of Clyde; her grandson David Sorrells (Crystal) of Clyde; her great grandchildren, Jacob Sorrells, Levi McCall and Noah McCall; her siblings, Robert Smith (Jan) of Candler and Mary Ellen Pressley (Carroll) of Canton; her nieces and nephews, Danny Smith, Carolyn Wilson, Danette Ledford and Sue Ann Owings; her great-nieces, Josie Owings and Macy Ledford; her aunt Bessie Fish; and her uncle Charles Ray Blaylock.
