He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Ellen Connor Buchanan and Julian McElhinney Buchanan, Sr.; his wife Birgitt Westerwick Buchanan of Canton; his children, Jessica Saskia Gallimore (Yanu Gallimore) of Eugene, Oregon and Oscar Benjamin "Ben" Buchanan (Bethany Buchanan) of Canton; and his grandson Tanner Emory Gallimore. He was also cherished by his wife, children and close friends.
